In Agres, the heart of the Mariola Mountain is located the Restaurant Pensio Mariola since 1.938 has been given to the customers the best service in a familiar atmosphere.

The restaurant is popular because of their home-made typical cuisine from this area. Traditional dishes and typical products of this area such as “la borreta”, “bajoques farcides”, rabbit, meats, sausages, “pericana”, appetisers, puddings, etc.

The visitor is always welcome in this mountain village, will be surrounded by nature which will enjoy with excursions to the hill, walking routes, visits to the monastery, caves, etc. And stay in one of our rooms, studies or rural cottages/houses.

The owners, the Antoli brothers, chose a traditional cuisine like their grandparents when they opened the Restaurant. And they want to promote the rural tourism very important in this area.

The Restaurant Pensio Mariola has been updated few times, last time was in July 2003.

Restaurant characteristics:

·       One of the main rooms has a banqueting facility for up to 160 people. With an old rural decoration and located in an old olive oil press. Air-conditioning.

·       A second main room has a banqueting facility for up to 270 people with a simply Valencia decoration. This room is usually used for congress, conventions, courses, etc. Air-conditioning.

The restaurant belongs to the gastronomic association of “La Muntanya de Alacant “Parlant i Menjant”.

Our cooking is home made with typical province dishes.

Rural houses with 3 bedrooms ( 6 sleeps)

All of them have 3 bedrooms with heating, cookware and glasware, bed linen, TV, washing machina, complete kitchen, and a bathroom.

All of them located in the village with great views.

1. Casa Azud: village house with a fire place.

First floor: kitchen, living room with a fire place, bathroom and garage.

Second floor: two bedrooms, one with a double bed with an extra bed and a second bedroom with four beds.

2. Casa Mariola: a rural house with electric heating.

First floor: kitchen, living room and bathroom

Second floor: 2 bedrooms, one of them with twin double beds and the second one with two double beds.

3. Casa Antoli: new built house with air conditioning.

All in one floor: open plan kitchen, bathroom, one double room and two more bedrooms twin beds and terraces.

Price: 1 day 150 euros, 2 days 190 euros and a week 420 euros. For more days please ask.

Rural houses, studio flat (2/4 sleeps)

   1. Casa Montcabrer: 6 studio flats located in a recently refurbished house.

All the studio flats are decorated in a rustic style. With a bathroom, kitchen with everything you need, glassware, cookware, fridge, electric cooker, microwave, TV, a double bed and a big sofa bed, a table with two chairs and air conditioning (cold and hot), and also has a bunk and two extra beds.

Price for two people: 1 day 55 euros. Weekend 100 euros. Week 290 euros.
